That does seem to be a particularly dumb and unhelpful comparison. I doubt Zack Polanski has any particularly strong views about the Sudetenland and Danzig.
She falls for that same old crap about “How did Hitler get people to turn against the Jews? Tell enough lies, spread enough poison”. As if the Germans (or the Poles or the French) were big fans of the Jews before Hitler came along.
Anti-semitism was normal in Germany before Hitler. Mein Kampf spelt out Hitler’s intentions and the Nazis were the largest party in 1933. Lebensraum had been kicking around for decades before.
