‘Life requires cash’: Gaza’s jobs crisis leaves people struggling to afford basics
Fresh fruit and other items now available but at high prices in territory where unemployment is estimated at 80%
They’re all dead already because genocide by the Jooos, aren’t they?
Sadly no.
Cant they get a job on a building site ?
Why do these Wayne Kerrs think everyone has the attention span of a mayfly and the intelligence of a David Lammy?
Must be the circles they move in…
Perhaps their murderous invasion of Israel that stated the war might have something to do with it. I understand before then many Gazans worked in Israel. You can hardly blame the Israelis for cutting off that employment avenue.
“The limited aid that reaches us doesn’t replace our need for money in any way and doesn’t cover even the most basic living requirements.”
Good, I hope you die.
Won’t have prevented them breeding like cockroaches, I predict…
Aid is the worst thing in this situation.
FAFO is good for you. You learn to do sensible things. Aid stops the “FO” from working. The Gazans will just whine about their existence rather than talking a look in the mirror and thinking “hmm… raping and killing the Jews may not be a good idea”.
That’s what has to happen. Then the Gazans will make peace, turning a large part of it into a seaside resort, encouraging businesses to come in with factories and call centres. Telling Iran to fuck off.
People respond to incentives. Scipio Africanus the Younger knew this, which is why Carthago diruta est.
Nearly half (?) of Israelis have convinced themselves Bibi is some kind of blood-crazed deathmonger, but in truth he’s a kindly, avuncular moderate. Even the weakest of Caesar’s generals would have wiped Gaza off the map for what they did, before returning to Rome for a much-deserved triumph – Palestinians should thank God every day that the Jews are a civilised people with a conscience.
However, the Romans were right. Carthage isn’t a problem anymore. Gaza…? As Machiavelli said, if vengeance must be done it must be so severe that you will never fear retaliation. Anything less is a failure of responsibility.
Sadly people also respond to disincentives: Arabs living in the Gaza Strip know that if they defy Hamas they and their families will be murdered (probably tortured first unless Hamas is too busy murdering other civilians).
Sounds like a vote for: A. Kill them all.
Hamas going to kill ’em, anyway. Kill ’em all, and you get Hamas, too.
“It became necessary to destroy the town to save it.”
https://app.un2720.org/tracking/intercepted
Here is the UN’s own website showing the number of aid shipments “intercepted”.
Strangely it doesn’t go into any detail whatsoever about who was doing all the intercepting apart from this one rather weasel-worded line:-
“Intercepted Either peacefully by hungry people or forcefully armed actors, during transit in Gaza”.
Forcibly armed actors. Who could they be?
>2025 – Genocide!
2026> – Fresh fruit . . .
I know a country that can help:

Just stamp each orange, mango and potato with the Star of David.
“Every morning, Mansour Mohammad Bakr sets out from the small rented room in Gaza City he shares with his pregnant wife and two very young daughters.”
Am I supposed to have some Heinz Kiosk response that it’s my fault he pumped a load of baby gravy into the Mrs in the middle of a war?
Pumping baby gravy into the missus is a sure fire way for economic parasites to move up the (free) housing ladder over here. How long before this particular Mohammed works that out?
I think the Israeli genocide is a disgrace. Two years they’ve had. The whole of the Israeli military at their disposal and they’ve killed, what -3% of Gaza’s population.
In Rwanda in 1994, the Hutus killed 70% of the Tutsi population – anything up to 660,000 deaths – in 100 days and they only had clubs, machetes and the occasional AK47.
Agree. They’re really not trying hard enough. I wonder why not?
In Biblical times when the Israelites slew, they slew.
Ask any Iceni you see. Oh . . . wait . . . never mind.
It’s the same pathetic argument as the Cubans.
”USA / Israel is the Great Satan and must be destroyed”
”Waah, we’re all poor because the USA / Israel won’t trade with us / let our people work there.”
”It’s all their fault!”
That very much isn’t the argument of the Cubans. It’s the argument of non-Cuban supporters of the Cuban regime. You think Cubans are stupid? Why’d you think most Cubans don’t live in Cuba?
