They were doing this then?

The NHS is pausing new referrals for masculinising or feminising hormone treatment for 16 and 17-year-olds after an in-depth review found there was insufficient evidence to support its continued use.

Prescriptions for hormones had been available in England for under-18s with a diagnosis of gender incongruence or dysphoria who met certain criteria.

Thought we were told that no treatments of kiddies did happen? Or is that statement now inoperative?

Somehow kiddies being treated into growing – or losing – the tits they’re too young to take a photo of just doesn’t seem like not treating kiddies. You know?

I like the consistency – 16 year olds are old enough to vote but not old enough to decide whether they want to be a boy or a girl………
I was going to say that who you vote for may not affect the rest of your life but I think this current mob are definitely doing their damnedest to fuck the future up.

Not sure this true but it’s certainly plausible…

It’s a lot more than just plausible.

There seem to be different definitions of children depending on whether they’re wanting to become eunuchs or are coming into the country by dinghy.

Must admit I’d feel tempted to blow the brains(??) out of anyone who wanted to do this to my great-nephews.

Are modern medicine’s reasons for making eunuchs better than the Byzantine’s reasons?

But after the Cass review, NHS England commissioned its own review of all the available clinical evidence.

We don’t care about no stinkin’ Cass review.

That review has now concluded and found the evidence did not back the continued use of the treatment for 16 and 17-year-olds.

Ok so we admit Cass was right after all.

On Monday, NHS England launched a 90-day consultation on plans to remove the treatment as a routine procedure.

But that’s not going to stop us is it?

He said the NHS was conducting a public consultation on the removal of the drugs as a routine treatment for under-18s before a final policy was published.

Since when was the efficacy, or not, of a drug treatment reliant on a ‘public consultation’?

Tammy Hymas, policy lead at advocacy group TransActual, said: “Banning new prescriptions of gender-affirming hormones for 16 and 17-year-olds is a profound attack on young people’s bodily autonomy with trans people yet again cruelly singled out by this government.”

Of course he she does…

FIFY.

Tammy (sick) needs some prison time for conspiracy to mutilate children.

So from my count, they got a report saying it wasn’t a good idea. They didn’t like that so they commissioned another report. Which also said it wasn’t a good idea.

So now they’re commissioning a third report, hoping for a different answer.

How are they allowed this, as opposed to just making it happen? How many bites at the apple are these activists going to be allowed?

Oh, all of this is “removing as a routine procedure”. For minors. So this doesn’t cover “not a routine”, or adults.

For adults, if they want to pay for it, fine. But I guess you can’t do that with the NHS, it’s paid for by the public or you can’t do it.

An adult is entitled to do whatever the **** they want to do to their own body.

Yes, and I’m entitled to ignore what they’ve done with their body and keep them out of my female only spaces!

We asked a representative sample of bbc question time audience, lbc listeners and members of stonewall.
