My sister and her closest female chums – all went to school or university together – have been going through it in the past couple of years. My sis has been OK, two or three of her mates have had hormonal/mental troubles but a good quarter of that group were batshit anyway.

It seems just being a woman leads to mental health problems.

It is catching though as we seem to have a lot of girly men around nowadays.

Women score higher for neuroticism than men. Anxious women’s children were more likely to survive because their mother was constantly scanning the environment for threats?

My wife apparently sailed through it, glad to no longer have the painters in. She’s made of the Right Stuff, mind.
