The former Central Intelligence Agency director John Brennan has added his name to growing calls for the president to be ousted on grounds that he is unfit for the job, arguing that the US constitution’s 25th amendment addressing involuntary removal from office was “written with Donald Trump in mind”.
DJT was 19 when the 25th was submitted to the states for ratification so I doubt they had him in mind. This was during LBJ’s term, and perhaps it was JFK’s assassination that made them all think.
It’s a shame Trump isn’t a fascist like they keep crying, because the US desperately needs a firm scouring:

On 7 April, the president warned that Iran’s “whole civilisation will die tonight” if the Iranian regime failed to meet his ultimatum – a threat Brennan said hinted at the deployment of nuclear capabilities.
These people are giving comfort and aid to an enemy regime during wartime. I’d have them black bagged and dumped in the sea.
John Brennan, eh? The former Marxist and one of the chief instigators of the ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ investigation into Trump’s alleged links to Russia? The John Brennan who was accusing Trump of ‘malfeasance and corruption’ on Twitter (as it was then) all the way back in 2018?

AIUI the displaced Pres can get back the Crown simply by declaring to Congress that he’s fit to resume. No medical, no corroboration, just his say so in front of the assembled.
It would be classic DJT theatre if the VP kicked him out and he walked straight back in to the role a week later.

It’s possible for them both to be unacceptable. And we definitely should blame the Democrats for coming up with a candidate everyone preferred Donald to.

No madder than many a person in office…..which is, as you know, why I think so much less should be decided by politics and those in office…..
