She was appointed to an Oxford University Chair precisely because she holds those views. Indeed anyone not holding those views would not have been appointed.

Balls. There’s ample evidence that poverty isn’t a major cause of crime. As for borders: really? Only if they are badly policed surely – as James VI & I demonstrated. And even then “cause” is a bit strong.

Which leaves caste about which I have never seen any evidence. I wonder whether she has, or is she just promoting an Indian prejudice?
Mauritius vows to ‘decolonise’ Chagos Islands
Given that the first people to live on the Chagos Islands and Mauritius itself were Europeans, who are these ‘colonists’, and will they be ‘decolonising’ Mauritius?
