Still, the number of people I’ve seen claiming that this was all a false flag operation, that it was done by The Joooos so as to summat or other. I was actually surprised – wihch, given the number of years we’ve all been looking at politics around here is odd – at how many complete morons and truly vile antisemites there are out there.
It’s a bit racist pointing at their surnames, they’re British nationals I’ll have you know? Well, the adults are, the boy is dual national so obviously British as well. (According to the Beeb radio news this morning)

How about designating it as a hate crime with corresponding heavier sentencing (by their own definition it would only take one Jewish person to step forward and say they felt threatened) or are hate crimes the same as racism – something only whitey can commit.

I’ve been wondering about this. Is there really that much latent anti-semitism? Obviously from the Diversity, yes. And there’s always been a bit of it in the English (particularly in the higher classes). But amongst the white, university-‘educated’, middle-class lefties who attend these protests, is anti-semitism the original cause?
I wonder if their problem is that Israel is successful. It’s got no significant natural resources, indeed a shortage of many, and it’s surrounded by complete shit-holes. How does Israel succeed when its neighbours, with the same resources and no worse history, are utter failures?
That is a huge problem for the modern Left, because it destroys their argument that success or failure is down to circumstances, historic oppression, injustice, etc. That can’t apply when you compare Israel to its neighbours.
Israel’s success, compared to its neighbours, must be down to hard work, peaceful voluntary cooperation, intelligent problem-solving, etc..
That undermines the modern Left’s entire world view, and therefore Israel cannot be allowed to survive, and that turns into anti-semitism.
You’re onto something here, BiSD, but I’m also struck by how lefty many Jews are, and of course, kibbutzes. Entirely ignored by the international Left.
I think it’s because. Odd view, I know. But the kibbutzim were the closest anyone’s ever got to proper, voluntary, socialism. It was all there, everything. And people lived in them and over the decades went “Naaah”. Capitalism and markets it is then, us having tried real and existing socialism. Something the left will never, ever, forgive.

I’m guessing this is Rousseau’s fault. The Muslims are Noble Savages, and thus can do no wrong. And at the same time, “they have an ancient civilization and we can learn from them”. Never mind that the ancient civilization was in the Christian lands they conquered, and ruined.

A long way. Obviously the Christians straight off had a beef with the Jews for rejecting, even for killing, Jesus. The first significant (maybe actual first?) Jewish presence in England came across with the Normans. The Frenchified, Christianised Vikings had a pragmatic use for Jews since they were exempt from the sin of usury. Much of the development of Norman Britain (including Christian institutions) was funded by Jewish loans-with-interest, as was the ability of the aristocracy to pay heavy Crown taxes. This worked for a while but obviously there was ongoing religious resentment, plus the ever present risk of having powerful people owe you money (ask the Knights Templar). Jews were increasingly penalised (all the usual crazy shit short of formal genocide) until eventually they were expelled from the country altogether in 1292. The rationalisation and justification of this grubbiness led to a peculiar medieval English nationlism rooted in antisemitism (“we” were now God’s chosen people).
There were no Jews (officially) in England for over 360 years until Cromwell allowed them back informally in the 1650s. The grounds of some religious tolerance had already been laid by the English Reformation; Henry VIII’s need for a male heir led to the rejection of Roman Catholicism, which led to the rejection of many of their notions. Charles II had been aided by Jews in excile so resisted conservative calls to kick them out again at the restoration. The Glorious Oranges also resisted calls for expulsion, and the Amsterdam connection led to the transfer of lots of Jews and Jewish money, which led to London becoming the finance centre of Europe (which funded all sorts of lovely things such as the industrial revolution). Of course, this Jewish-money-funding-stuff led to lots of new old ideas, no doubt assisted by Protestant-Catholic simmerings.
Obviously a twat like Karl Marx picked up on this Jewish money question, and so the new religion of leftism has always carried that old flag of resentment. This has been tempered somewhat by the lefties pretending the conceit of tolerance (when it undermines establishments) but once the State of Israel became a focal point of the Cold War (not immediately) a full on burning hatred (re?)established itself.
And here we are. Almost the entire left, many Catholics and some right-wing fuckheads who have swallowed their propaganda. This all sits on an evolved, inate human tribalism that is suspicious of any discrete group that doesn’t conform to the tribe. A characteristic the Jews enjoy themselves, of course.
Humans can be so amazing, and so lovely.
But the cruelty and slaughter will never stop.

Discrimination and persecution amplify together. Run any society for a while and some sub-sets will do better than others, just natural variance. The envy politicians will discriminate against that group that is doing better, higher taxes, expulsions, incentives to leave, whatever.
This outgroup does better over the following century than the majority group because they emphasize education, skills like cooperation with peoples further out than your cousin, and to an extent jewellery any other commodities that are high value and portable when you need to leave in a hurry.
Result: most everyone hates that group that got successful ‘cos they got hated on for being on their way to doing better, not realising that the discrimination against them led to them doing better.

As I said previously the charges will not reflect either racial motivation or hate. They are simply three young Londoners who dislike ambulances – all ambulances.
It’s just one of those unfortunate coincidences (that keep happening) that these particular ones were associated with a Jewish charity. Pure bad luck, nothing to see here.
