We saw two Met officers approach a man, stunned and lying on the ground, obviously unable to resist arrest and equally obviously unable to release the knife he held because the tasers used on him would have prevented his nervous system from reacting to that command (as the police should have known), then being kicked forcefully and with venom in the head (a targett that was clearly deliberately chosen) with all the possible injurious consequences of that.

Of course, of course. Also, having been kicked in the head he released the knife and the kicking stopped. So, erm….

The cops have to be nice to a murderous violent thug because why?

Finally, Met Plod gets something right.

Indeed.

It successfully unlocked his nervous system enabling the poor wee lambkin to release his grip on the blood-stained knife.

Funny how the nervous system is miraculously restored by a kick.

It would be funny if a Met spokesman now claimed that being kicked in the head has a different meaning in their culture.

If the unarmed copper becomes aware of a possible second terrorist, what’s the procedure I wonder. Swift kicking terrorist#1 unconscious then breaking off to heroically tackle terrorist#2 works for me. There were two at Bondi. Any movement by onlookers including whipping out recording equipment could alert you to potential danger

Exactly. We over here are applauding at the amazing level of restraint these officers showed in dealing with this situation.

Because over here there are a lot of places he would have been shot dead *before* the police were notified.

Obviously you’re out of touch with the high cost of ammunition.

Murphy reveals himself in his attitude and response – and particularly his non-response – to attacks on Jews.
Usually he follows the Corbyn/Polanski template of uttering the bare minimum “of course anti-Semitism is bad” comment that’s needed before moving on. This time, however, he fails even to do that. He fails to mention even once the two Jewish men fighting for their lives. He attempts, pathetically, to draw an equivalence with another violent attack that happened to be in London and with a victim who happened to be Muslim.
Otherwise, nothing. Not a work on his blog about this and the other terrorist attack, targeted on one and only one group in the UK. And let’s not forget his only comment on 7 October for weeks s to complain that it bumped him if the Today programme.

Let’s call it out what it is and him for what he is.

And Tim, if he pushes back, give him my name!

Fully agree.
He posted one of his anti-Israel/anti-Semitic rants on Youtube the other day.
I think everyone of a decent mind knows exactly what to do. Would be a shame if his channel was demonetized for antisemitism now wouldn’t it.

He also trots out the old canard about being a victim of ‘anti- Irish’ racism. What a despicable piece of crap he is. I do hope YouTube does demonetise him.

And don’t accuse me of being an antisemite for thinking that. I refuse to be called or be any such thing.

Glad that’s sorted out.

Point me to something I’ve ever written that could be described as antisemitic. Take your time, I can wait. And then an abject apology would be nice, but I’m not getting my hopes up.

On a similar note, although you wouldn’t know it on account of the vengeful Ukrainian twink style news blackout, the two thugs who beat up the undersized woman pc at Manchester airport have been found guilty as hell.

If Yvette Cooper ever issued an apology for doing a Polanski (or a spud) with her knee-jerk criticism of police officers who were doing whatever was necessary in order to subdue the violent and dangerous thugs I must have missed it.

Their sentencing will be at a later date. How envious Lucy Connolly must feel.

It took at least 2 kicks so perhaps the police need to go back to wearing hob nail boots or carrying old style wooden truncheons.

If you follow Ammo Grrrll you’ll know that taking a drive to the range to blow the cobwebs out of your varied collection of handguns, shotguns and rifles can also be a very feminine pursuit 🙂
