Owen’s demands!

Public control must mean democratic public ownership of our utilities.

I never do understand why here. Better control? Well, OK. But this demand that it must be public, democratic…don’t get it.

Anyway:

But the left is a force that must be listened to, rather than swindled all over again.

No, swindle ’em. Then stomp ’em, obviously.

I wonder what young Owen would say if Reform got in and did exactly what he suggested?

It’d be the wrong kind of nationalisation.

When they say “nationalised” do they mean “stolen”? Or are they going to give lots of money to the evil foreigners who own the companies.

I cannot understand why anyone who drives on Britain’s roads – surely the most basic responsibility of government – thinks the cunts should be in charge of anything.

That’s before you get to hospitals that kill people, schools that don’t educate kids, navies without ships, armies without soldiers, vast borrowing for no benefit etc etc etc.

Another example of Labour using that made up word ‘socialism ‘ to convince morons that communism is a good idea.

Does democratic public ownership mean that as a member of the public, when whoever is in charge fucks things up, I can march into his office and tell him/her that they are fired?

No! Oh, so it’s merely sinecures for the ruling party’s mates. Fuck off with your democratic public ownership.

In a rather shocking admission I actually agree with this sentence.

‘But the left is a force that must be listened to,’

I’d agree that their public utterances, under the rules of evidence under the PACE Act need to be used at their treason trials, hopefully to procure lengthy periods of detention or post the repeal of the HRA even more severe sentences for High treason across a period of multiple decades.

Given the slow rise in public awareness of what unfunded means in regards to public sector pensions, whats the difference between politicians/public sector accountants and the Maxwell clan again?

So he wants all the English Water companies be as bad as Scottish Water! The latest figures I can find on Google is that the 10% of sites that are monitored had 242367 hours of sewage discharge in the year. It is theoretically possible that the 90% that were unmonitored were less bad than the ones that were monitored, but I don’t have any bridges to sell, so let us just say that extrapolating gives an estimate that Scottish Water sewage discharges were well over two million hours per year.

For comparison a complate count from Thames Water shows it discharged sewage for 298081 hours. Wiki says Scottish Water serves 2.46m households, Thames serves 15.5m people so it’s more than twice as big: Scottish Water is more than twice as bad.

Thanks.
Have to say that a site that shows Scottish Water as the worst offender having a petition to bring Water back into “public ownership” is Grauniad-level hypocrisy.
