A BBC presenter lauded by the corporation for his appeal to young male audiences has a history of making abusive and misogynistic remarks about women, whom he has variously called “slags”, “sluts”, “psychos” and “bitches”, the Guardian can reveal.
Apparently he’s been reading the lyrics off the back of the rap albums….
Men can lose their living for misogyny. Women can make a living from misandry.
Does anyone actually watch BBC Three ?
I used to when it repeated Doctor Who, if I had missed it on Saturday, but that was 20 years ago.
Oh and “Pint of Lager and a Packet of Crisps” because Kathryn Drysdale and Sheridan Smith were quite hot.
Interesting choice. I liked Natalie Casey. She gave off that vibe of the sort of woman where you’d need to be gobbling down steak and mainlining Viagra to keep up with her for a weekend. And blondes don’t really work for me.

It’s funny about Sheridan Smith, because I thought that she showed a lot of potential and always watched out for her. If you ever get the chance listen to her in the Big Finish Dr Who plays with Paul McGann. They are really quite excellent.
In the early days, BBC3 showed Bluestone 42. If you haven’t seen it, it’s still on iPlayer – my friends who are ex-military reckon it’s the best programme ever made about real life in the army.

Revealing that a BBC employee is a bit dodgy isn’t really a world class scoop.
He sounds like a real charmer. Still, at least he’s not a nonce or a rapist, so the BBC is getting better.
As the great Rhoda points out – if it was a female presenter making misandrist remarks it wouldn’t even be news. No particular torch for this guy but does beg the question who has he upset over there?
Perhaps he’s rebuffed an approach from someone of indeterminate gender?
