Rupert Lowe’s party could hold the balance of power in Thursday’s Makerfield by-election by splitting the Right-wing vote with Reform UK, clearing the way for Labour’s Andy Burnham to win.
Some of Restore’s supporters are so openly racist that Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, the far-Right activist detained last week under counter-terrorism laws, has questioned whether the party is too extremist.
But over and above that, the mimic that response Simon Hoggart got once. The country’s full of people like that and in a democracy they’ve every right to take part in politics, to gain representation.
Does it matter? Apparently half the ‘right-wing’ groups are getting their money from the left-wing groups anyway;)
Think of how much money your Far-Left NGO’s can make if Lowe and company have a real chance to take Parliament! Think of all the excuses they would have to clamp down on dissent and wrongthink leading up to that.
If Lowe didn’t exist then Starmer would need to invent him.
The ones who say Blacks can’t get an ID. The ones who say Blacks need lower exam standards to get into education or professions. The ones who say there are too many Blacks in prison or mental health facilities.

Watching the Terriblegraph try to slander Tommy Robinson is becoming amusing. I have noticed that they desperately try to avoid quoting him, because so much of what he says is reasonable.
Lowe is an effective MP but he is also an egomaniac and Restore is no more than a spoiler party. Although it does keep the nutters and people who spend 20 hours a day on Twitter out of Reform.
The next step will be to hire a voice over actor when TR appears on the telly.

Who the ‘banned neo-Nazi groups‘ are is a complete mystery, as well as what the ‘links’ are.

Meanwhile, entire councils are being taken over by extreme Islamic groups.
Since those who follow Restore appear to do so because they don’t like Nigel Farage, absent Restore would they vote Reform, or vote Labour just to spite him – which is the purpose of Restore?
If that were to be so, Restore won’t make any difference.
I don’t dislike Nigel and I have a difficult time choosing between Restore and Reform. Restore is where my heart is, but like many I doubt it can be made to work as more than a fringe interest.
Mind you, when I see the Mail doing hit pieces on Restore, that’s a pretty strong indicator that the smart money is on Reform being Tories 2.0.

Danny Kruger is doing a lot of work on how Reform will reform the civil service and make them and more responsive, and smaller, with the aim of make it all explicit in their manifesto. They’re also going to set out how quangos will be shut down and power returned to ministers.
If they follow through I will serious consider voting for them.

Not sure about that. It’s more that we don’t trust Farage or the collection of Tory failures he’s mopped up and given jobs. I don’t care which party does the job, as long as it gets done.
It won’t get done by a party with one MP, 10 councillors and 4% support in the latest poll.
I live in a Reform council (larger and local) and yet I’m in a pot-holed 20mph zone and am endlessly fucked around with the bins (collected for Ed Milliband, not me).
