But they are questions that Burnham will now have to answer
Andy really doesn’t have to answer indignant questioning from some random blogger, no.

What’ the answer for quangos?
Burnham.
What’s the answer for migrant hotels?
Burnham
And HMOs?
Burnham
What’s the answer to two-tier justice?
Burnham.
See, He’s the answer to these and many other problems faced by the UK.
Sure you don’t mean ’cause’ rather than ‘answer’ Rhoda??
It’s best read out loud.
Took me a couple of goes to get it!
At least the problem of Racheal from Accounts will shortly be solved.
I guess he doesn’t have another shot at vermine then.

The meltdown by Labour MPs and their supporters because Kemi called Phillipson spiteful and incompetent has been a joy to watch.
This from a party that calls Tories “scum”, leavers “Nazis”, moderate Muslims “Uncle Toms”, Kwasi Kwarteng “not really black”, Liz Truss “a lettuce”, Covid “The Johnson Variant” & Kemi Badenoch “blackface for white supremacy” and su on and so on.
When you’re taking flak you’re over the target, and Kemi was spot on.
She’s come on quite a bit in two years. Whether she can rescue her horror show of a party is another question.
If the Tories had any shame, much less any sense of the betrayal and disaster that they have visited on the country, they’d take themselves into a room with a tumbler of whisky and a revolver and do the decent thing.
I don’t want them rescued. I want them ended.
100%.
The first election at which my two eldest could vote was 2019, when they (like my wife and I) voted Tory.
I remember saying to them the next day, when Johnson the Traitor won his 80-seat majority, ‘OK, now we’ll finally sort out Brexit and all the other bollocks’.
I’m ashamed at my naivety, though to be fair I believed basically in ‘the system’ then, a belief which was carpet bombed by the Covid shit.
Never again, you utter cunts.
Not unless you exhume Enoch Powell and Maggie Thatcher and put them in charge, and even then I’d need you to neck shoot half your MPs.
It’s a great pity she was eliminated in the 2022 leadership race. Without Truss and Sunak’s contributions things could have been a lot better.
2022? So before she became minister for communism?
What would they have called a male leader of the Conservative Party who habitually wore a black shirt?
A Metalhead.. 😛
I’ve been on holiday. May I just say “Fuck the NHS”? Fucking, fucking, fuck the NHS. Bastards.
Wot does Burnham say to that?
P.S. To elaborate on Charles Moore – I don’t like a smirking socialist who likes to wear black shirts.
I’m sure Andy Burnham would see your “Fuck the NHS” and raise you one Stafford Hospital Scandal:
He should have done time for corporate manslaughter.
Had a bit of a run-in, DM?
He might have encountered another country’s health care system on his travels. That revelation can seriously change opinions.
I’ve been hearing some whining about the Spanish care system. She is upset because she’ll probably have to wait for a month for something was discovered after a walk in consultation. If only she knew how the “Best Health System in the World” functioned. Soaring heights the Spanish system could only dream of.
Tim, your friend and mine George Mikes would have called them “petulant expostulations.”
I’m sure you can get something at Boots for that.
I wonder, has Andy Burnham even heard of, never mind read, the Courageous State and the Joy of Tax?
And if not, why not? Right thinking people and civil society demand a response. PS, you can use AI to send an email on this point to your own MP to apply pressure.
Once Burnham has absorbed and accepted the points made in these seminal texts, he can move on to the Taxing Wealth Report, which sets out the solutions to all of our problems.
I remain available to discuss with him all of the salient points about the direction we should be taking. Reimbursement of modest travel and accommodation expenses would be required. As a primer, I have posted hundreds of videos on YouTube he can watch.
The trouble is, this seems to be how he actually thinks. The only things that made me realise this wasn’t a quote are that it is too moderate, too polite and the spelling is correct.
That and no “Two-hundred-and-ninety-fourthly.”
Wasn’t the politician’s response to questions patented by the Viscount Wedgwood-Benn?
“That is an interesting & important question. But the question I want to answer is this ……”
Burnham only needs to answer questions from people who vote for him.
He got elected MP – so he doesn’t need to answer the questions of the people in his constituency.
He’s moving to be elected PM – so he only needs to answer questions from those of his party and any coalition he is organizing to vote him into office.
At no point is there any reason for Burnham to feel the need to answer questions from random Britains – they have no say thus they do not matter.
It must hurt a lot when you think you’re as important as he imagined he is and the phone call never comes. (Don’t forget last week he claimed to have changed world policy on wealth taxes)
Nobody answers his questions and the only thing he gets asked is Richard Who? It would make anyone take solace in imaginary friends
Clarence
The rumour mill is buzzing that Gary Stevenson, who blanked Murphy after reading his output, is being lined up as an economic advisor which might explain his annoyance!!
Madeline. I would. In every respect.
A fine filly. Comes across as a bit giggly which makes her even more endearing. And she is very tall.
She’s a cracking writer. I bet she’s great company with a sense of humour like that.
All I read in that is an unmitigated disaster…
