The question now is, what do we do about it?
Which is a problem. Cultures are notoriously difficult to change. It’s taken them these decades to get to this point, where the idea of equity not equality dominates. So, how do we shift it back?
It all boils down to whom they employ.

Institutional capture is going to be an enormous problem for an incoming Reform government, if it happens. Police are going to be the least of their problems. You can’t get people to change if they don’t want to change. They can’t just fire a million people. They’d have a million wrongful dismissal actions in courts where the judiciary are favourable to the Left.

They can if they abolish the laws on unfair dismissal first. If the State can unilaterally change the legal relationship between the millions of people who are landlords and tenants, it can unilaterally change the relationship between millions of employers and employee.

Public sector strikes don’t seem to be a problem. With government shutdowns, we’ve had essentially that here. Most normal people don’t even notice.
I wouldn’t try to sack public sector employees myself, I’d just reduce their budgets instead. Cut a department’s budget by 50% and make them make themselves redundant.
I broadly agree with OJ and BiSD. Begin with a Great Repeal Bill, then fire ’em by statute – no redundancy payments or golden farewells – if they disobey orders. Riots and strikes to prevent the implementation of Government policy? Enforce the law, as far as possible. The extra-parliamentary right will likely do the rest without encouragement. Policing in my county has improved since they created PCCs. The mere fact that they have to report to someone in the county who might understand what they are doing creates a change in incentives.
Has it? I’ve never heard of a PCC do anything useful.
I’ve seen them photographed having a laugh with chief constables. Given the widespread involvement of British police in enabling Islamic paedophile rape gangs, if PCCs were doing their job, we’d expect to have seen somebody sacked over the years.
That’s never happened, because PCCs are useless parasites who add no value.
