Transgender youth athletes have vowed to keep playing sports and fighting for equal access to teams after the US supreme court ruled in favor of laws banning their participation.
The court’s conservative supermajority on Tuesday upheld laws in West Virginia and Idaho prohibiting trans girls from participating in women’s teams, finding the laws were constitutional.
The ruling advances one of the central causes of anti-LGBTQ+ advocates, who have been pushing to curtail the rights of trans people across society, including in education, employment, healthcare and the military.
The whole point of male and female sporting classes, boy and girl, is that men and women, girls and boys, are physically different in a way that matters in sport. That’s why we have the segregation.
Gender – claimed gender if you wish – is a different thing from these physical differences based upon sex.
The argument that boys should be in the girls classes – boys by sex because of gender claimed – is to refute the very idea of having boys and girls classes.

It’s odd that there aren’t more female to male ‘trans’ athletes out there – I don’t think I know of a single one.
If I was a female rugby player I reckon I’d give the hormones a go, because the salaries for England men vs England women are disproportionately higher – and if there’s no physical benefit accruing to a male-born athlete vis a vis women then logically there can surely be no disbenefit accruing to a female born athlete vis a vis the men?
The athletes know very well that the steroids give you an advantage, but not enough to make up for the difference.

These are ideological headbangers who are of the belief that if reality contradicts their fetish it is reality that needs to be redefined. Not the fetish. And they, and all their foolish enablers across the Deep state need to be removed entirely from public life.
They’re just cheating. Cheating in sports goes back decades. I’ve no idea what goes through their minds when they risk their health taking steroids and similar, or why someone would willingly become a boxer or footballer and get brain damage, or play rugby so big hairy strong men would jump on them, but the obsession with fame and money and all that goes with them appeals to obsessive characters.
It’s got nothing to do with the genuinely transgender, though. It’s just an excuse. MtF transgender *hate* their male bodies and their capabilities, and *hate* being reminded of the ways they don’t fit in to their internal gender. They might want to join in with the girls in a friendly match for *social* reasons, which they will very carefully *lose* in order to fit in. For them to show off their male strength and beat all their friends is as psychologically unlikely as someone scared of heights partaking in competitive mountain climbing.
Genuine MtF transgender people *want* to be women in *all* ways, including strength and speed. It upsets them that they can’t. Any who say differently are just cheats. They’re sportsmen who think they have found a variety of doping you’re not allowed to ban.
You are allowed to ban it. The Equality Act s.195 makes it perfectly legal for sports organisers to ban it, if it is to ensure fairness or safety. And everyone agrees that’s sensible, including genuine TGs.
Why not have male, female, and transgender female categories? Then we can see which one dies a death first.
