So two weeks back the press was in full cry hunting him for accepting money to pay for security. Now this.
This is only a comment as with Napoleon’s desire for generals who are lucky. It’s not about what has actually happened at all. Rather, that he just is lucky in that everyone starts shouting about him over x and then y happens that shows that x was, in fact, quite right.
Further, the harder he works at it the more this luck happens.

Apparently, there was a 12 person far right extremist terror cell that was plotting to attack a mass gathering of Muslims in Suffolk.
Yet oddly, we’ve heard next to nothing about it. I mean, I realise that the government and main stream media would naturally be inclined to seek to play down a story about far right terrorists attacking muslims, but you’d think some details of the plot, targets and investigation would sneak out, wouldn’t you? Some local elements were charged and released on bail. Which is also completely normal.
The outfit running the muslim gathering is banned in various ‘stans and Saudi Arabia as being a “gateway to terror”.

I was intrigued to learn that one of the 12 arrested was 82 years old.

It was stated that the event was ended prematurely due to the threat but this is not true, it was always due to end on the Sunday.
The three who were arrested for ‘conspiracy to commit murder’ have all been released too. Isn’t that rather odd?
Interesting that the organisers had failed to notify the local council or Suffolk Police about the event until it was reported on the local news, and that the council or plod didn’t throw a hissy fit and say no.Don’t upset the moslems obviously.

There was a report about that on the local news and the cameraman was wandering round the site after they had all gone. What surprised me was the enormous pile of black plastic bags, presumably containing rubbish. A sort of mini-Glastonbury!
I thought the black plastic bags contained Muslim women.

There was a Labour politician on one of the Speccie podcasts claiming that Labour had a duty to beat reform because they/Farage were far right. He might think he wasn’t advocating violence but it’s obvious some of the left will read it that way.

Isn’t the current government pretty close to being National Socialist? The regular socialists went for state ownership of industry which even they now know doesn’t work very well. I would say last night’s result has driven a long nail into Burnham’s coffin. ( I watched the Argentines second goal last night with considerable relief, waving my blue & white flag vigorously). “The cup coming home” could have been taken as signalling a “new beginning” & Burnham ridden on the wave. Much as it pains me to say it, I agree. England winning the WC could easily have translated into a feel good factor for the Northern Messiah, a poll lead by early autumn, an election before Christmas, and a significantly reduced but still working majority. The leader of Reform UK said he had spoken to the Prime Minister and the Chief Constable of Devon and Cornwall Police several times at the weekend following the announcement of Miss Widdecombe’s death on Friday.
On Wednesday morning, Mr Farage told TalkTV: “They both told me it’s a burglary that’s gone wrong. I said no it is not – a burglar does not park his car on your drive and walk into the house. A burglar parks in the lay-by down the road and has a getaway driver.
“I went to Dartmoor on Saturday and said I had no doubt this is a premeditated murder. I received tons of abuse for saying it.”
