Thousands of Germans have staged protests against the far-right Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) after the party’s watershed victory in a state election, warning it posed a danger in two more polls this month……..Police reported 5,000 protesters, while organisers said they drew more than 14,000 people in a campaign to mobilise voters against the AfD.

Well, OK. As opposed to 44% pf the adult population of the entire State of Saxony Anhalt?

You might have some work to do there.

Mostly women, no doubt.

Perhaps they have a rape fetish.

Or they ‘work’ for the NGOs which make money out of the migrants.

Or they’re stupid.

Or traitors.

Or all of the above.

By the way; why do their signs say ‘No AFD!’ and not ‘Nein AFD!’?

It couldn’t be that they are, wittingly or unwittingly, working in service of an international movement which wants to undo the whole west, and that Germany is just the most pressing test case?

It’d have to be “Nein zu der AfD” or “Keine AfD”. You end up with no verb and asking yourself whether AfD is the subject or object and what case it should be. Although German has the concept of the imperative ( eg “Hande hoch, Tommy !” ) there is no separate case like in Latin.

Much easier to do it in English.

I’ve got no problem with people speaking a foreign language, I just wish it was the same foreign language.

Anyway, most of them sound like Ewok gibberrish.

And this is refreshing: “Police reported 5,000 protesters, while organisers said they drew more than 14,000 people”

If it happened in London the Met would claim 50,000, minimum.

And the BBC would claim 500,000.

And with a 78% turnout too.

As I mentioned on Monday, some districts achieved 85%.

There was some twat on the wireless at a demo in Cologne or somewhere whinging “The majority still did not vote AfD, so they shouldn’t be in power !” Yeah mate and dont forget the CDU halved its vote.

This whole debacle seems to launched an existential crisis in Berlin.

Also the people who have been sabotaging infrastructure in Germany turn out to be eco-loons, not Russian spesnatz forces.
It has all gone a bit quiet about that now.

But they really didnt have to, it did so all by itself…

I assume you’re talking about the sabotage in Berlin during last winter? Didn’t several people die because of that?

Some chap had just been arrested with explosives about to blow up Wesweiler power station. It looks like has been attacking substations and the like across the country.

Sorry, Jonathan, to answer that specific question – don’t appear so is the answer.

These attacks are all quite recent, but that is not to say he doesn’t have other crimes to be taken into consideration.

This drone at Leipzig airport is looking like a put up job too.

TBH Otto, I haven’t seen anything about these other attacks in the British media, which isn’t that surprising.

576,037 in one small province versus approx 14,000 all over Germany.
Democracy must be saved against evil white nazi racists.

Euggypius quotes someone predicting that 80% of migrants will leave Saxony Anhalt. Where will they go? What if it’s here?

News from Germany.

The wonder is that so few people vote AdF. The conventional parties are all Green and are therefore closing manufacturing industry, while also being Red and encouraging unselective mass immigration so that the immigrants can work in manufacturing industry.

Off with their heads!

Tim thinks Restore Britain is outside of the “Overton” window but the AfD suggests that there is room for a party that wants to actual get rid of the economic migrants.

This is what I’ve said. That the Overton Window is not where he thinks it is. Most of the people who opine on this are not representive of Brits. Simply because most Brits have better things to do than opine.

Like a boiling pot, the more the establishment try to suppress it, the greater the pressure, the greater the eventual bang. I think the AfD are mad to support Russia, but if the mainstream are ignoring one’s other concerns, then strange results can occur.

All protests here are either astroturfed or directed by some non-governmental government organization. Or discredited by undercovers. Every lockdown protest (I attended quite a few) had two guys in doc martens, skins, and leather jackets bearing constitutionally questionable symbols. They were there for the TV cameras to linger on.

A “Demo gegen Rechts” can easily be made to look a lot larger than it is.
