I’d congratulate the NHS on their successful diagnosis. It’s about the level that I trust them to get right.
In PC-land, we are allowed to “stigmatise” only smokers, ‘homophobes’, alleged racists/sexists etc….We must, however, not be ‘size-ist’ and stigmatise fatties – particularly if they are relatively poor and female!

I’m a fat bloke, and I find the term “obese” far more insulting than “fat”
Much as I might dislike being called fat, I cannot argue with the veracity of it.
I suspect most fat people know they’re fat, what they need is not having it pointed out, but some practical support.
