A pregnant burglar stole jewellery worth more than £500,000 from a £105 million London property by posing as a cleaner.
Luminita Zamfir, 24, stole rings, necklaces and earrings from what is London’s second-largest home after Buckingham Palace in February.
The then-pregnant Romanian
…
Zamfir has four previous convictions for burglary and shoplifting dating back to 2016 and will be sentenced on June 11.
So, started her life of crime …..ah, no, first got caught in it….at 15?
And that is just in Britain.
Is she Romanian, or is she Roma?
But if she came over on a boat, doesn’t she earn enough as a brain surgeon?

Julia beat me to it.
Grist
Up until now she probably “earned” more than a brain surgeon albeit she didn’t pay tax.
Ah, the Thieving Gypsy Bastards. Yes, perhaps not as funny as it seemed on publication but remarkably prescient and every word true.
Professional criminal: needs to get consecutive sentences for each burglary and will still be better off than if she had spent her time earning an honest living. Maybe 50 years preventive detention would be both useful and a deterrent to copycats?
What idiot leave 500 grand of jewellery lying around in the house instead of the safe? Or was this an insurance job?
philip,
If I owned a £105m house I’d be a lot more careful about vetting my cleaners. I’d want some older British woman with an impeccable reputation. The type that wouldn’t even help herself to the gin. And pay very well for them.
@philip

What sort of idiot steals it without considering that the victim would notice the loss and suspect the Romanian cleaner?
Doesn’t look Roma to my eye, merely Romanian. Theft is down in Romania as is street crime. Can’t imagine why.
Is she Romanian, or is she Roma?
Either way, she’s scum.
If only all burglars were as incompetent as her. How did she expect to get away with it given she was recorded on cameras and too high value, easily traced items?
How do you end up rich enough to afford to run the second largest home in the UK but you don’t have a security service to vet your domestic staff and control access to the place?
