Well, FAFO, no?

A federal grand jury has indicted Letitia James, the New York attorney general, for bank fraud, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Lindsey Halligan, the US attorney for the eastern district of Virginia, personally presented the case to the grand jury on Thursday, the person said. US attorneys do not typically present to a grand jury.

“This is nothing more than a continuation of the president’s desperate weaponization of our justice system. He is forcing federal law enforcement agencies to do his bidding, all because I did my job as the New York state attorney general,” James said in a recorded video statement on Thursday.

“These charges are baseless, and the president’s own public statements make clear that his only goal is political retribution at any cost. The president’s actions are a grave violation of our constitutional order and have drawn sharp criticism from members of both parties.”

Her charges against him were clearly politically motivated. But, as sometimes happens, they enraged the bear not killed it. So there’s that.

There’s also the interesting question of whether Ms. James actually is guilty of bank fraud of course.

Mortgage fraud seems to be quite the catch all these days.

‘Pencil Neck’ Schiff is next up for it after fraudulently changing his primary residence.

Gosh, good job nothing Ike that happens here…. Oh…

The ease with which Trump appears to be finding financial fraud among his enemies suggests that they really are all at it. All the Leftists have probably assumed that even if they got found out they’d be protected by their But I’m A Democrat™ card, so it was a free bet.

Ha ha.

I was under the impression that the US Justice system had been weaponised over 15 years ago by Barry.

Polygrip Pelosi can’t be too far off the radar either – $174,000 a year as a senator = $250 mill net worth, and a return on her stock portfolio last year of 54%. Or 700% since 2014………

Isn’t this the point when the boot was on the other foot the Dems would be claiming the Grand Jury means no smoke without fire and anyway jury trial?

It will be interesting to see if she does go for a jury trial or accepts a plea bargain.

I expect a strong case (unlike James’ case) because there will be many eyes on it. They know the Leftards will check every i and every t.

BTW, all the charges against Trump were likely PROJECTION.

They are all at it. So are we, anyone who has put the best spin on income or valuations when getting a mortgage. The thresold for actual criminal fraud seems…ill-defined. Mandelson did it, wasn’t prosecuted. Trump did it, wasn’t guilty or truly fraudulent. Who has been jailed for it? Only Tommy. It wasn’t his mortgage, nobody lost money, and Tommy landed up in jail. Two-tier justice did not beging with this PM.

Rather, the interesting question of whether they can empanel a jury that would be prepared to find her guilty of bank fraud

This is nothing more than a continuation of the president’s desperate weaponization of our justice system.

Commies hold the press. Hence assertions like this. Not a peep when Biden did it. Two tier tyranny. They expect the Noble Losers – Republicans – to just accept it.
