We’ve been told

Charles has no viable successor.

Ho well, right.

Eh? Is he talking about King Chuck? What about his eldest son, his beautiful wife and their eldest son? Looks to me like the succession is sorted. Or is he just shitting delusional republican diarrhea?

Perhaps he thinks that all this stuff coming out about Andrew will instantly turn the whole population into fulminating republicans. The alternative looks pretty awful with the current likely candidates for President though.

The old line, attributed to King Farouk of Egypt, is that the last five kings will eventually be the Kings of Hearts, Spades, Diamonds, Clubs and England.

I assume he has someone in mind for the job.

William has, like Charles, been groomed since birth to be a future King. He has, like Charles, my sympathy (I should have hated it).

The Royal Family as a grooming gang, based in that London. Feel for the victims.

Yes, one or two victims per generation. Finitely (99.99999975%) preferable to the republican model.

Well Tim

Like something out a Science fiction movie – his army is awakening – the Greens are apparently on their way. We shouldn’t be nervous though.

Third, those coming in are competent. They are precisely the people who have been missing from politics for far too long. They are not think tankers. They are not ideological diehards. They are not committed to climbing the greasy pole. They bring real-world skills to get things done. I am not denying that some will have ambition. So what? If you don’t want to win, you cannot change the world through politics. People of that sort are required by any movement, but there are more than that. They are also committed to making real change in communities, which is where the bedrock of real politics is located, which Labour is showing it no longer comprehends by abolishing councils, alienating communities in the process.

I am no fan of Labour, which I think the Mandelson affair seals as the worst government in human history – but to suggest the Greens are anything other than even more incompetent in almost every sphere.

One of my objections to the Green Party is that their policies will worsen “global warming”

As for this – we have a Royal specialist on the case:

There has been no apparent investigation of AMW’s behaviour by the King or his staff, of which we have been made aware, or the findings of which have been made public, indicating either:

  • A curious lack of curiosity on his part.

Not unexpected given the one know accuser turned out to be a mentally deranged conpiracy theorist who killed herself

  • A desire to cover matters up.

Or perhaps there was nothing to it

  • A wish to hide the late Queen’s involvement in all this, given that she provided the £12 million settlement AMW paid with regard to this matter.

You’d think someone who had been burned with lawsuits would be more careful. I do hope Trump has this guy brought to his attention and launches legal action.

  • A desire to maintain the pretence that there is a perfect “royal family”, which we can very clearly see is utter nonsense.

What curious fantasy is this. A few other people have made the point that the alternative to King Charles (who I think is sympathetic to ISIS by the way) is President Starmer – elected on a straw poll and proceeding to commit innumerable acts of high treason on an almost minute by minute basis.

I’ll take the lesser of the two evils…

If we’d gone republican when the Queen died, I think we’d have had President Mandelson.

No way: Tony Blair was the republicans’ candidate but – just as the boat was named “Boaty McBoatface” – there was a chance that Ian Botham might have won.
