No, leave aside the giving evidence shtick.
If you are a trans woman – ie, a MtoF – then you are, by hte standards insisted upon, actually a woman. At which point you can’t be doing drag, can you? Not unless that means dressing up in a suit and tie. Because drag is a bloke dressing up as a woman.
A woman dressing up as a woman is not drag.

If you want an honest answer to that, I can give you one. The one I know quite well convincing presents as a stunningly attractive brasileira. Needless to say it’s on the game & I’ve asked it about its clients. None of them are gay. A few of them are bi-sex but mostly they’re straight, get off on the idea of a chick with a dick. And since it’s “passive”, it’s not even fucking them.
So its evidence would be, generally they’re not gay. However, I guess that’s not what’s required in this case, so maybe this one’s lying. Crossdressers might be more be more reliable. They often are gay or bi-sex. It’s a different kink. So Tim’s QED would be correct.
This raises a question I’ve wondered about for a bit now – aren’t they comingling transsexuals & transvestites, at least when it’s convenient to do so?
Likewise, ignoring the difference between, for example, a man who says “I should’ve been born a woman” or “I feel like my soul or brain is female” or “damnit, I don’t care what my genitalia and chromosomes say,
I’m a woman”. And, of course, the difference between the man who claims “I am a woman” who knows he isn’t biologically a woman but wants everyone to go along versus the man who truly believes he is (i.e, is delusional).
Perhaps dumping everyone possible into the tranny category (like the teenager seeking attention) gives them more leverage?

Indeed. There’s a service some of the working girls offer called feminization. They dress the client up in female clothes, do make-up etc. May involve dominance/sub games. Fucking the client up the arse with a strap on. Or may not even involve sex at all. The clients are most definitely not gay. It’s also a thing for couples. People are weird. It’s a given.
The whole “trans” thing is all about the original trans, namely transgression.

Traditionally yes but in a bizarre twist of culture eating itself, drag queens have become more diverse too. There are now female drag queens (female from birth) who dress up, well, as if they were a man pretending to be a woman. With their own drag persona and drag appearance which is distinct from their everyday self. And trans drag queens have become very common. So someone born a man claiming to genuinely be a woman, then dressing up and adopting the persona of a man impersonating a woman.
